The triple top and triple bottom

The triple top and the triple bottom are a natural extension of the double pattern, but with three roughly equal peaks or lows instead of two.

The shape and its formation

The triple bottom appears at the end of a fall: three lows at roughly one level, separated by rebounds. It resembles a rectangle in which price strikes a single floor three times. It is not complete until the upper resistance level joining the peaks of the rebounds is broken. The triple top is its opposite.
