This policy explains what we collect from you on stdprojectai.com, why, where it is stored, and what rights you have over it. Written in plain language, not legalese.
1 · Who we are
stdprojectai.com is a personal project, not a registered company. It is run by one individual resident in Algeria, operating under the name STD Project, who is personally responsible for your data and for answering your requests about it.
You will see "we" used across the site — that is the project's voice. The person accountable for your data is one individual; you may request their full name at the privacy address below and we will send it to you.

2 · What we collect
Only what you type when you create your account — nothing more:

3 · What we do not collect
This section matters as much as the one above:
- We collect no analytics and no visitor statistics. No Google Analytics, no substitute.
- We set no tracking pixels and no advertising. No Meta, none of the others.
- No behavioural profiles, no selling of data, no sharing it for marketing.
- We do not store your IP address. It passes through Cloudflare during the
are-you-human check and is not kept by us.
- We never ask for your trading account credentials — not your platform
password, not your investor code. Anyone asking in our name is not us.
4 · Cookies and browser storage
We set no cookies. The only thing we keep in your browser is a session key called std_token in localStorage, which keeps you signed in for thirty days. Signing out erases it immediately.
Third-party tools embedded in the page may set storage of their own:
- TradingView — price tables, charts and the economic calendar.
- Cloudflare Turnstile — the are-you-human check, on the signup and sign-in
pages only.
These follow their owners' policies and are outside our control.
5 · Who your data reaches
Contacted directly by your browser:

We send none of your personal data to any of them.
6 · Where your data lives
On Railway servers in San Francisco, United States, in a PostgreSQL database. If you write to us from outside the United States, your data is transferred there and processed there.
7 · How long we keep it
For as long as your account exists. If you ask us to delete it, we erase your data within period — e.g. thirty days of your request, except anything we are legally required to retain.
8 · Your rights
You may ask us at any time for:
- A copy of the data we hold on you.
- Correction of anything wrong in it.
- Deletion of your account and its data.
- Withdrawal of consent to be contacted.
Write to stdprojectai@gmail.com from the address registered on your account and we reply within thirty days. If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom you have additional rights under the GDPR, including the right to complain to your national supervisory authority.
9 · How we protect it
- Passwords are stored hashed with bcrypt — a breach of our database would not
expose them.
- All traffic to the site and our API is encrypted end to end with HTTPS.
- Sign-in is protected by a signed session token that expires after thirty days.
Even so, no system on the internet is perfectly secure, and we will not promise what we cannot guarantee.
10 · Children
The site is not directed at anyone under eighteen, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If we learn of a minor's account we delete it.
11 · Changes to this policy
We may revise it whenever what we do with data changes. We update the "last updated" date above, and if the change is material we tell you by email.
